About Nordea Tour
Here is some brief information about the professional tour in Sweden, Nordea Tour.
On the mens side Nordea Tour is a major part of the Nordic Golf Ranking which is a satellite tour to the European Tour.
The top 5 players on the Nordic League (men) will gain a Challenge Tour category and the 6 top players skip the first stage of the European Tour Qualifying School.

Who can enter?
Nordea Tour is open both for professionals and amateurs. The competition for spots in each tournaments is much tougher on the mens tour and there is a qualifying school played in october each year. It is also possible to qualify by playing other tournaments within the Nordic League or the Swedish Minitour. So for mens tournaments, anyone with a handicap of 3,4 or less can enter but if you dont meet the qualifying standards you will be far down on the list of reserves and will not get in to any tournaments.
For ladies the maximum handicap for entering is 4,4. Some of the tournaments each year does not have a full field so playing opportunities for players without any exemption category are available. Members of the LET are given an exemption category. Players without exemption categories will be put in order the national rankings in sweden when fields are filled. Non swedish players will be judged based on past playing merits and added to the list of players.
